Dry ice specialists
Strip the rust,
not the metal.
Ice Werx blasts the rust, grime and old undercoating off your car's underside using dry ice — then locks out future corrosion with a LanoGuard seal. No grinding. No chemicals. No damage to what's underneath.
Full underbody treatments starting at £895
About Ice Werx
Bare metal in. Protected metal out.
Ice Werx specialises in one job: getting the underside of your car back to clean, factory-condition steel — without sanding, grinding or harsh chemicals touching it — then sealing it so the rust you just paid to remove doesn't creep straight back in.
Frozen CO₂ pellets are fired at the surface at high velocity. On impact they shatter and instantly turn to gas, shocking rust, underseal and grime loose — while sound metal, rubber, wiring and plastic are left completely untouched. No media to sweep up, no chemical runoff, because the ice itself simply disappears.
Cars people are proud of
From weekend show stoppers to daily drivers, every underside gets the same attention to detail — because rust doesn't care how clean your paint is.
Non-abrasive
Soft enough to leave well-bonded paint and rubber untouched.
No disassembly
Most jobs are blasted in place, right on the lift.
Zero media waste
CO₂ sublimates on impact — no sand, no grit left behind.
Sealed, not just cleaned
Every job finishes with a LanoGuard coat for the long run.
How it works
Three steps from rusted to restored.
Inspect & prep
Every car goes up on the lift first. We check the underside, flag problem areas — wheel arches, sills, the subframe, exhaust mounts — and mask off anything sensitive.
Dry ice blast
Compressed air drives dry ice pellets onto the surface at speed, shocking rust and grime loose without scratching or denting the metal beneath.
Seal with LanoGuard
Once it's stripped back to bare metal, we apply a LanoGuard lanolin coating — a flexible barrier against rust, typically good for up to a year before a top-up.
Pricing
